The Bionic Group were delighted to be present at Cygnus Homes’ open day, hosted for their supply chain at the Imperial War Museum in Duxford. In a day highlighting Cygnus’s exciting strategy going forward, Andy Ling and David Hovanesian spoke about The Bionic Group’s contribution.
We demonstrated an early development version of the Pattern Book, a customer experience tool, which we are designing / developing with Cygnus. The customer will be able to use the Pattern Book to configure a Cygnus house type according to their preferences. As the customer selects an option, such as cladding type, numbers of bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom fittings and wall colours choices, a virtual interactive model builds to show them what their choices will actually look like. The customer can virtually view the exterior of the house before going inside to look in and around each room. They can also configure and change their options whilst they virtually tour the house. A further development of the Pattern Book will be to link the customers choices direct to the manufacturers / suppliers for ordering purposes.
