The claims submitted to date had not been accepted by the Client and it was considered that the preparation of a multimedia claims presentation would assist the Client to fully understand the issues relied upon and the impact on the agreed programme.

We implemented graphical representations, to communicate each phase of the construction sequencing as proposed (baseline sequence), and in respect of the various delay events relied upon in the claims, developed a comparison to show actual progress. These where displayed in a split screen, side by side, accompanied by a timeline build sequence with key dates & text commentary, to clearly demonstrate progress & delays against programme.

Bristol City Football Stadium
Bid Submission

The new stadium is to be built on a former landfill site, close to the existing stadium.

Buckingham group’s successful bid team, engaged Bionics to build a 3D phasing presentation to highlight the complexity of the steel framework, and to show how they had considered all possible variations of its construction. Another key focus was the redesign & alignment of an existing and new proposed road junction that would provide the main access to the new stadium and adjacent retail park.

Bionics also designed the branding for the folders, dividers, CD cases and CD labels.

Pudding Mill Lane

Bid Submission

The Bionic Group provided multimedia support to Morgan Sindall’s successful winning bid for Pudding Mill Lane. Contract awarded by Crossrail, value £50m.

We designed and developed an Interactive CD with links to each package of works. Bionics developed 3D models to communicate Morgan Sindall’s construction phasing and logistics proposals and understanding of Crossrail’s requirements.

Crossrail have since requested that the 3D models be updated to reflect design & programme changes. This is to be used for staff familiarisation.

London Bridge Station
Bid Submission

The Bionic Group developed a video to introduce Balfour Beatty’s capabilities and the experienced team to lead the detailed design, installation, testing and commissioning of the track remodelling.

Bionics also produced 3D phasing sequences to help communicate Balfour Beatty’s proposals and the logistics for minimising disruption to rail users and the general public. Contract awarded by Network Rail, value £50m.

Cafe Royal
Demolition Animation

A detailed 3D animation showing Erith Group’s proposals to demolish the building interior but retain the external façade. The client was so impressed with the presentation, that they requested to see a revised animation to reflect variations. Erith Group went on to win this bid submission

Rathbone Market
Phasing animation

The Bionic Group supported John Sisk’s winning bid submission to construct a Mixed use development at Rathbone Market Canning Town. Our 3D phasing animation was used as part of a presentation to the council, local residents and the general public. The feedback from the council was that the 3D model helped them to understand the scheme.

Corporate Brochure
Printed Document

Ferrovial required a corporate brochure to help communicate their credentials and sector services. The words for the brochure were crafted by an external consultant employed by Ferrovial. Bionics assessed the words and the proposed content, then we used our expertise to create a series of designs and layouts. We worked on the basis of “less is more”. You have lots to tell - you are brimming with enthusiasm - you want to pack all your information into the brochure. The problem is that too much information can be a real turn off. Simplify your message and your audience will be able to understand it.

One challenge, was the large amount of financial data they wanted to include. To create an memorable experience, we created a series of graphics which included 3D icons to make the financial data more interesting and pleasing to the eye.

Powerpoint Presentation

This presentation was created to support Skanska’s Bid submission. it included a fantastic animated picture storyboard intro based on the executive summary magazine, an introduction to the project team, 3D construction phasing animations, floor layouts which included project plans and organagrams. The presentation ended with an outro picture sequence overlaid with text and animated using motion graphics.

QualSurv
Powerpoint Presentation

We worked with Qualsurv to design and develop an intuitive corporate PowerPoint presentation which was used by the Qualsurv team to introduce the business to perspective new clients. We designed a background template incorporating Qualsurv’s graphics & logo. This was overlaid with animated graphics to show charts and graphs and graphical representations for various Qualsurv projects around the world. The final output contained information that was clearly presented and easily interpreted,
